Join other Longwood alumni and their families for an afternoon of fun at the Art a la Cart Program at the American Art Museum.  “Travel throughout the galleries to find interactive carts where kids can handle brushes, palettes, bison hide, bottle caps, and quilt squares. Ages 7-12.” 
Date:   Sunday, February 14, 2010 
Time:   1-4 p.m. 
Place:   American Art Museum.  Please enter the building at the F Street and G Street  lobbies.  
Cost:    Free 
RSVP: Requested  by February 8th so we can give the Museum an estimated number of attendees.Contact the Alumni Relations Office at 800-281-4677, ext. 3,  www.longwoodlink.com or alumni@longwood.edu to give us your name and  the number of person attending with you. 
Representatives from Longwood will be in the atrium of the building to greet alumni and their families.  Stop by so we can give you a Longwood gift. 
Directions : The American Art Museum's main building is at the heart of a revitalized downtown arts district, known as the Penn Quarter. It is conveniently located above the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro station (Red, Yellow and Green lines). The DC Circulator also serves the museum's Penn Quarter neighborhood. Barrier-free access is available at the 8th and G Street entrance. 
Parking: Limited on-street parking at meters and several public garages are available in the neighborhood.
