You were a member of Alpha Sigma Phi. What was your favorite part of being in the fraternity and what is one of the best things you took away from your time in it?

Being a part of Alpha Sigma Phi enhanced my college experience in a variety of ways but the number one benefit of being in a fraternity was and still is the lifelong friendship of my brothers.

What was it like being apart of CHI?

It was an honor and a privelage to be recognized by my peers as someone who exemplified the spirit of cooperation among students.

How hard was it to keep it a secret?

It was incredibly difficult at the time.  The CHI meetings were at the same time each week as our fraternity meeting.  I had to find a way to be at two places at once.  I was also asked to join the other Princeps after I was already a membetr of CHI and providing a reasoning for not joining them was a challenge.

Being apart of so many organizations, such as your fraternity, Order Of Omega, Phi Beta Lambda, and being on the Judicial board; what did you gain most out of them?

I gained an understanding of how to balance work and life after college.

Who was your favorite professor in the business school?

Dean Farmer.  He had a long term vision for the business school.

What Longwood tradition is your favorite (besides CHI)? Why?

I loved the holiday dinner just before winter break.  I completed exams and was ready to celebrate the holidays.  It was a great feeling to have the weight of the semester lifted off your shoulders combined with the anticipation of being at home with family and friends.

If you could relive one event you attended at Longwood, what would it be and why?

It would be the day I finally completed pledging my fraternity.  I remember the details of the ceremony and celebration...  all was good on that day.
