Katherine McKinley Bulifant '13, M.S. '14

Katherine McKinley Bulifant '13, M.S. '14, was featured in this spring's issue of Longwood's Alumni Magazine for her new position of Director of Campus Philanthropy. This month she talks about some of her duties and goals she has for our next fiscal year, her focus on young alumni, and her impressive 14% increase over goal.

Katherine also shares some of the organizations and activities she was involved in while a student and references how her foundation in philanthropy started with her experience in Alpha Delta Pi.

to deliver

Longwood’s Simkins

Lecture April 23

Bill James, whose innovative philosophy changed the face of baseball and inspired the story behind the 2011 Oscar-nominated movie Moneyball, is coming to Longwood to share his story. The statistical formulas James developed to better reflect a player’s value to the organization not only revolutionized baseball but also have been applied to other businesses and organizations worldwide. James will speak at Longwood on Thursday, April 23, at 7:30 p.m. in Hiner Hall, Room 207.  The event is free and open to the public, but seating will be limited. Full story.
